Temperance Herbals

Amanda Talford of Temperance Herbals is a nurse herbalist based in the Chippewa Valley creating small-batch herbal teas, salves, infused oils, bath soaks, dried herbs, and botanical wellness products inspired by traditional herbalism and seasonal living. After nearly two decades as an ICU nurse, Amanda transitioned into herbal education and handcrafted herbal products rooted in nourishment, connection to the land, and approachable plant wisdom. In addition to creating herbal products, Amanda also teaches community herbalism classes focused on seasonal wellness, herbal preparations, gardening, and reconnecting with the plants growing around us. Fresh locally grown culinary and medicinal herbs are also available throughout the summer season as harvests allow.
